Who we are

fonëì makes and sells small-batch Naga meat pickles and runs the fonëì Supper Club. We currently trade as a sole trader: Priyanka Dopho Sangma, trading as fonëì, Manchester, United Kingdom.

Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order with us.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy from us. We accept your order when we take payment for it, and a contract is formed at that point. We will also send you an email confirming the order and its reference number.

If a confirmation email does not reach you, that does not affect the contract — payment has already been taken and your order will be dispatched as normal. Please contact us if you have paid and heard nothing.

We may decline an order if a product is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we believe the order is fraudulent. If we decline an order after taking payment, we will refund you in full.

Prices and VAT

All prices shown include VAT. The price displayed on the product page is the price you pay.

Delivery is charged once per order at a flat rate of £3.99, however many jars you buy. Orders containing the Full Set include delivery at no extra charge.

We may change our prices at any time, but changes never affect an order you have already placed.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own secure page — we never see, handle or store them.

Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. We aim to dispatch orders on the next working day and send them by Royal Mail 48. Full details are on our Shipping page.

Cancellation, returns and refunds

You have 14 days from receiving your order to change your mind and return unopened jars with the seal sticker intact. You also have separate rights if something is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered.

Our Returns page sets out both routes in full, including how to start a return and who pays return postage. Nothing on this page or that one affects your statutory rights.

Allergens and food safety

Our products contain allergens. Full ingredient and allergen information for each product is shown on its product page, and is printed on the jar label.

Please read the label when your order arrives, and check it again before eating — recipes and suppliers can change. If you have a food allergy or intolerance and are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, email us before you buy and we will tell you what we know.

Our kitchen handles the allergens listed on each product. We cannot guarantee that any product is entirely free from traces of others.

Our liability

We hold product liability insurance.

We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any of your statutory rights as a consumer in relation to the products we sell you.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was formed, or for business losses — we supply our products for domestic and private use only.

If something goes wrong

If you are unhappy with a product or with how we have handled something, email us at hello@flavoursofnortheastindia.com and tell us what has happened. We will reply and try to put it right.

Your privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your personal information, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

These terms take effect on 10 September 2026.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
